Readiness Reframed™

Readiness Reframed™ is a specialist division of Real Strong Women, founded by Vicki Causer. It helps police, fire, defence, security and emergency-response organisations understand how female physiology, occupational equipment and working conditions can affect women’s comfort, health and operational performance.

Applying specialist insight from pelvic health and women’s movement, Readiness Reframed™ provides education, workforce insight, practical pilot programmes and specialist project input, helping organisations understand and address how female physiology, occupational equipment and the realities of the job can influence women’s comfort, health and operational performance.

Women are meeting the demands of physically challenging and operational roles, but the equipment, working conditions and support systems surrounding them have not always been designed with the female body in mind.

Are we asking the right questions?

The question is no longer simply whether women can do the job.

It is whether we properly understand what the job, and the equipment required to do it, is doing to their bodies.

Body armour, PPE, load carriage, breast support, shift patterns and physically demanding tasks can all interact with female physiology. Breathing mechanics, pressure management, pelvic health, breast health and movement do not operate independently of one another.

These factors may affect comfort, confidence, fatigue, symptom management, movement and task experience. Yet they can remain difficult to discuss, poorly understood or absent from existing training and workforce conversations.

Readiness Reframed™ brings these issues into the operational-performance conversation in a practical, credible and constructive way.

Meet the Founder

A smiling woman with blonde hair and blue eyes sitting on an orange couch against a plain beige wall, wearing a navy blue t-shirt with the words 'Support Women, Support the World' and blue jeans.

Vicki Causer is a Pelvic Health, Movement & Performance Coach and the founder of Real Strong Women and Readiness Reframed™.

She combines specialist work in women’s pelvic health, movement and physical performance with nearly two decades of professional experience in complex public service environments, including probation, victim liaison and family intervention.

Her work focuses on the often overlooked space between healthcare advice and the real physical demands placed on women’s bodies.

Vicki is currently developing collaborative work around female operational health, breast support, body armour, workforce insight and the experience of women in emergency, defence and security-related roles.

Her role is to help organisations ask better questions, understand the female body more fully and translate that understanding into practical action.

“This is not about lowering operational standards. It is about identifying avoidable barriers that may prevent women from meeting those standards safely, confidently and sustainably.”

If your organisation wants to better understand how female physiology, equipment or working conditions may be affecting women, we can begin with an exploratory conversation and identify a realistic starting point.
